Detox Diet

Updated: Oct 13, 2020

If you're new to detoxing, you may feel perplexed whenever you're hungry and wonder yourself, "What can I eat exactly?"

The answer is really simple: focus on the ingredients that go into meals more than the meal itself. Most of the ingredients you may already have in your kitchen can assist your detox and boost your immune system and energy levels. Detox is about adding a helpful ingredient to your diet.

I have put together 4 Natural Detoxing ingredients by which you can add into your daily diet:

1. Garlic

Garlic is a very powerful antioxidant and protects your cells from damage. It lowers cholesterol by removing unhealthy fats from your arteries and veins. It is anti-fungal and treats candida, along with other fungal conditions. It helps lower blood pressure and thins the blood slightly. Garlic reduces the chemical load on your body by detoxing heavy metals. It's a wonderful detoxing ingredient to add to your daily meals.

2. Cilantro (Coriander)

Cilantro and coriander are basically the same herb. However, they've acquired different names in different parts of the world. They have the same botanical name called Coriandrum sativum. Discovering the healing properties of what this spice can do, due to its essential oil, it helps with digestion and upset stomach. When consumed, it assists in removing heavy metals such as lead, mercury and aluminum. Daily activities can expose you to these heavy metals through smoking, paint fumes and chemical-based cosmetics. Cilantro captures the toxic compounds and gently sweeps them out of your system. You will notice heightened energy, greater clarity, an improved complexion, and a much more positive attitude.

3. Spirulina

Spirulina is a powder-formed sea kelp. It is largely made up of protein, which your body needs for muscle growth and development. Protein is made up of essential amino acids. When digested, protein is broken down by your body to these basic building blocks. These amino acids enhance numerous functions, including energy maintenance, improved cardiovascular health, concentration, mood balance, pain management, sleep cycle, and nervous system nourishment.

Spirulina is soothing to your digestive system, as it doesn't require much energy to absorb. The food is already broken down to a cellular level. This balances your good gut bacteria. Spirulina serves as a food for probiotic organisms.

4. Chlorella

Chlorella is a green superfood. It's rich in protein and assists the body with detoxification. Chlorella is one of the most nutrient-dense foods in the world. In order for your body to get maximum benefits, the cell wall needs to be broken down. Look for open-cell or cracked chlorella supplements.

Chlorella is known for it's protective and detoxing properties. Chlorella bins with heavy metals and carries them out of the body. Chlorella promotes healthy cell growth and supports your immune system. It is known for being one of the best sources of chlorophyll. Chlorophyll enables transport of oxygen through the body and facilitates the work of hemoglobin. This boosts your energy, restores your red blood cells, and improves your overall well-being.

Wishing you Love and Harmony,
